And The Winner Is …………

Well its that time where we announce the winner of our spot the difference competition. So this sounded like an easy task you had to spot 6 differences between 2 pictures of an Engino Model it soon became clear it really did take some real thinking from the children and their parents to find the differences, but was really good fun. We have had a ton of people enter and the first to return their completed forms were also treated to free gift just for entering.

We looked long and hard through the completed forms and had to use the tie breaker question to find a truly deserving winner so here we go the winner was drum roll please …………………….

Alex Price aged 7

Check out the picture we took of him collecting his £40 prize he was so over the moon he had won so from all of us at Its Toy Time and huge well done to Alex.

We thought you would all like to know we now stock Magformers building sets these are great construction sets for all ages with bright colourful pieces that make building cool designs super easy. If you are un-sure what Magformers are they are a cool new way of building shapes vehicles and buildings with magnetic shapes that turn your design into a 3D construction.
So how does Magformers work and why do they hold together so strong.  A magnet has a positive and negative pole. The opposite poles of the magnet attract each other while the same poles of the magnet repel each other. The neodymium magnets which are encapsulated within all the edge surfaces of Magformers make Magformers rotate to any direction and connect each other regardless of their position when two Magformers are brought together. So in short term small spinning  magnets that hold everything in place 🙂

These are taking the Toy industry by storm which we think are a real worthy contender to any building toys out there, With one of our favorites sets being the Magformers Rainbow 16 Piece Vehicle Set. you can make many many different vehicle styles out of this one set and you don’t even have to make vehicles lets your imagination run wild.

Bubble Crazy

With the sun out why not make the most of it and go bubble crazy. Your child will love chasing after the bubbles and seeing how many they can pop before they touch the ground.

Here are a few different games you could try with your bubbles

No Hands Allowed
Have the kids try and pop bubbles without using their hands.  They can use their heads, elbows, legs, feet, knees, etc.

Catch a Bubble
Blow bubbles and then try and catch them on the bubble wand.  See if multiple bubbles can be caught on the wand

Biggest Bubble
Have a contest to see who can blow the biggest bubble.  Make sure all the wands used are the same size.

Bubble Dodge
This is a fun game where kids try and dodge the bubbles that are being blown at them .  Have the players line up about 10 feet from other players who are blowing bubbles.  If a bubble pops on them they them switch places with the person who blew the bubbles.
